It was with sadness we learnt of the death of Ann on Boxing Day 2024 at the Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore, where she had worked, witnessed and dwelt amongst the people for well over fifty years.
Ann initially went to CMC to serve with the BMS World Mission in 1968 and found her place serving the Lord there until He called her home. We heard from her, whilst she visited with us, of her passionate support for the construction of Bridge House, at the College, a project where patients and their families will have a place of respite during their times of treatment.
We have supported this in the past, but if you would like to make a donation to this work, in specific memory of Ann, there will be an offering plate available on the next few Sunday’s. Please place your donation in a marked envelope on the offering tray.
Alternatively you can donate directly to the Bridge House project on the CMC website.
A Baptist Times article covers the extraordinary life of Ann Bothamley in more detail here.
