At Spurgeon’s, we have a small but enthusiastic group of people who enjoy taking part in the local MK parkrun – the WECC (Water Eaton Church Centre) Runners. What is parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you!
Milton Keynes parkrun
parkrun meets weekly on a Saturday at 9am. The Milton Keynes parkrun takes place at Willen Lake. Further details can be found on their website.
Our group is made up of a variety of ages and running abilities – you can walk the whole route should you so choose!
Once a month, we then meet at the Manse (our minister’s house) after the parkrun for breakfast.
