At Spurgeon’s, we have a small but enthusiastic group of people who enjoy taking part in the local MK parkrun – the WECC (Water Eaton Church Centre) Runners. What is parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you!
Milton Keynes parkrun
parkrun meets weekly on a Saturday at 9am. The Milton Keynes parkrun which we take part in is located at Willen Lake. Further details can be found on their website.
Our group is made up of a variety of ages and running abilities – you can walk the whole route should you so choose!
Once a month (usually on the 3rd Saturday of the month), we meet at the Manse, our minister’s house, for breakfast after the parkrun. You can find out when the next Breakfast @ The Manse is taking place here.
