Whilst we’re keen to ensure that the Church family spend time worshipping together, we also recognise the importance of age-appropriate teaching too. So during our Sunday morning services we spend the first half of our time together and then the Junior Church leave for their own activities (except on the first Sunday of the month, which is all age).
The Junior Church group is staffed by enthusiastic volunteers who give up their time to ensure that children & young people have the opportunity to explore the Bible and respond to Jesus in a way which is appropriate to their age & stage of development.
At present, we have:
- One group that meets weekly for ages 0-11 (apart from the first Sunday of the month, which is all age).
- One group that meets on the last Sunday of the month for ages 11+. This is led by Mung, our minister.
On the first Sunday of the month, our services are all-age, so Junior Church stay in for the whole service. These services typically include singing, bible stories, activities, refreshments & cake. We also celebrate the birthdays in our fellowship which are taking place that month.
