Schools Work

We have activities for young people which take place at the Church Centre, but the way to engage with the maximum number of young people is to go where they are: school!

Christmas & Easter Cracked: twice a year we invite Year 5 and 6 students from our 5 local schools & three village schools to visit the Church Centre and take part in an interactive lesson which explores the Christmas & Easter stories. The special lessons are fast-paced and involve drama, games, craft, quizzes & cooking. Each session is 90mins long and fits into the School curriculum.

MK Bridgebuilder Trust

We work in close partnership with the Milton Keynes Bridgebuilder Trust.

During the summer, in partnership with St Frideswide’s, we also run a children’s holiday club called Lighthouse, for children from the ages 5-11. Running for a week, Lighthouse aim is for children from all walks of life to encounter God in a fun-filled week with worship, drama, praying together, messy games, discovery (Bible teaching), crafts, and sports.

Lighthouse happens across the country – our Lighthouse at Water Eaton is called ‘Lighthouse Bletchley South’.
