Spurgeon’s is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain, which means we have a vote for who will be the next BU President for 2026-27.

No nominations were received for the 2025-26 President and Council agreed there would be a fallow year with no President in 2025-26.

Further to the call for nominations for 2026-27, four nominations have been received.

After Morning Worship, during the month of March, we will be watching the video profiles for each candidate that has been nominated.

Voting closes on 31st March 2025 and we will consider our vote at the church members’ meeting on 24th March.
