A large group of us were blessed and grateful for the welcome by Folkestone Baptist Church in celebrating the ordination of our new minister, Rev Mung Hatzaw, at his former church.

Mung was presented with an ordination Bible by the Rev Dr Anthony Clarke (right), senior lecturer at Regent’s Park College, University of Oxford, where Mung received his training to become a Baptist Minister.

Mung also enthusiastically joined the music group in a wonderful service of praise, dedication and commitment. We heard lots of accounts of Mung’s enthusiasm in his previous involvement and work in Folkestone. If you missed it, you can watch the service again here.

Exciting times for us here at Spurgeon’s, and we look forward to what God has in store!
