This Sunday gone, we were delighted to welcome Pastor Shaun Sweeney, and his wife Kathie (seen below), to lead our Morning Worship. Shaun has recently retired as Pastor from Shirley Baptist Church in Southampton (pictured above).

During his visit, Shaun preached on Philippians 2: 5-18, provoking us to think about what an obedient church to God looks like in its everyday rhythms and activities. This included the mantra that we should be “stepping down in order to step up”.
