This coming Sunday (24th September) is Harvest Sunday. We’ll be celebrating Harvest in our Morning Worship and together with St Frideswide’s in the evening with a Harvest Social. Read below to find out more:

Morning Worship

At 11am, Nick Lingard will be leading our Harvest Sunday Morning Worship. It will based on the ‘Days of Plenty’ appeal by BMS World Mission. If you want a taste of the appeal, follow the link to find out more:

This year, rather than bring produce to church, we would like to support the BMS Harvest Appeal. If you would like to make a financial contribution, please bring it in a marked envelope on Sunday or donate via online bank transfer into the Spurgeon’s bank account, with the reference ‘Harvest’. Account details can be found in the church newsletter.

Joint Harvest Social

At 5pm, we will be holding a Joint Harvest Social with St Frideswide’s. A Ploughman’s Buffet will be supplied by Anderson Catering and Catherine, Vicar of St Frideswide’s, will lead a reflection.

Once the link is available, you can sign up via ChurchSuite. Alternatively, you can sign up on one of the sheets on the noticeboard at the Church Centre and bring £5 with you on the day.
