Crosslinks 20 (16)

Crosslinks turns 20!

On Saturday 24th June, a celebration was held to celebrate the twentieth birthday of Crosslinks.

Run on Christian principles and founded in 2003 by our then Minister Chris Bell and the Vicar of St Frideswide’s, the objectives of Crosslinks are to regenerate and sustain the local community in what is one of the most disadvantaged areas of Milton Keynes. It does this by providing person-centric support across the whole community, irrespective of age, social and economic circumstances, and ethnic background. Most of the CrossLinks trustees and volunteers are today members of our Church.

As with the 10th birthday celebration a decade ago, we were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Mick Legg and the Mayoress, Mandy, to help us celebrate. Also present were trustees and volunteers past & present, and members of all the various activities which Crosslinks organises. A display showcased the activities which Crosslinks runs, as well as photos from the past 20 years and a BBQ outside meant everyone was heartily fed. Much fun and fellowship was had by all, as can be seen by the pictures below. Many thanks to Molly for taking them!
