The first Saturday morning of the month would normally see men from Spurgeon’s and St. Frideswide’s sit down together for an egg and bacon roll and fellowship. Of course, in these times of social distancing that’s not been possible for the last two months. That hasn’t stopped the group meeting virtually, thanks to the wonders of modern technology.

I know that many look forward to the time together. Some of us are working from home, some are retired, some are at home being shielded. All of us value the fellowship. It would seem that breakfast is optional, but for others it’s an excuse to get the frying pan out!

As the thoughts in government turns to trying to get us back to normal, whatever that’s going to look like. I suspect that June will still be a virtual meeting. If you would like to join June’s breakfast then please reach out for the joining details; we’d love to see you there!
