Charity Fire Walk for WECH

Read all about the upcoming fundraiser for Water Eaton Community Hub, an initiative supported by Crosslinks and our sister church St Frideswide’s:

About

Water Eaton Food Larder grew out of an emergency food box response to Covid, partnering with the local Town Council and SOFEA/FareShare. When Covid and the delivery programme ended, it evolved into the present sustainable Community Larder membership model.

Part of Water Eaton Community Hub, the larder redistributes surplus supermarket and manufacturer food to members at affordable prices, preventing waste while supporting families. The Hub also provides a welcoming community café, free lunches, hot drinks, friendship, skills workshops and access to support services.

We believe food waste shouldn’t exist, and everyone deserves nutritious, affordable food, creating a stronger, more connected local community.
