During our all age Harvest service a few weeks ago, we collected donations for St Mark’s Meals.

“St Mark’s Meals is on a mission to ensure that No Child in Milton Keynes Should Ever Have To Go To Bed Hungry. Working with over 140 schools, family centres and community organisations across the city, we are able to provide a healthy and easy meal to children experiencing poverty, hunger or crisis, directly through teachers and support workers… no wait, no red-tape and no hassle.”

We have received a message back from St Mark’s Meals, thanking all the different schools, churches and organisations who provided donations across our city:

“A huge harvest THANK YOU for all the generous donations made at harvest festival events this month. High Fives to the children at Cold Harbour School and Loughton School, as well as the people of all ages at @stfrideswides and @spurgeonbaptist – also, great job to the volunteers in the warehouse who sorted and stacked the tins in record time!“

It’s wonderful to see the positive impact which this charity is having to ensure no child in Milton Keynes goes hungry – thank you everyone for your donations!
