There was a nautical theme to this year’s ’Holiday at Home’, our summer event for over 60s – we were going on a cruise!

Our cruise included quizzes, music, singing, a cream tea and dancing, which wouldn’t have been possible without being led by Sandy Bennett and her fabulous dancers (see the pictures below)!

The day can simply be summed up by one visitor who commented:

The cruise was went really well. ‘The Crew’ worked so hard and it was amazing!

The event was organised by members of our church, St Frideswide’s, and sponsored by Crosslinks. A big thanks to the whole team who organised the event, decorated the Youth Hall and coordinated the day.
