‘Come and See’… join a Lent Small Group!

This year, our Lent Small Groups are using material from the Church of England based on theme of ‘Come and See‘ – an exploration and reflection on the Lord’s prayer.

What does the Lord’s Prayer mean to you? It is at the core of our walk with God, a beautiful expression of how to approach him in conversation. You may be confident in praying it or you may never have learnt about this prayer.

‘Come and See 2022’ works for people with an active faith and also those exploring Christianity for the first time. Do you have a friend, a partner, a sibling, a neighbour who is curious about Christianity? This is an excellent opportunity for them to find out more.

We will use the materials in small groups to help Christians and enquirers alike to deepen their knowledge of and relationship with God.

A short clip by the Bishop of Oxford outlining what Come and See is all about

If you wish, you can also sign up to receive a daily email with a reflection and audio recording from the Anglican Bishop of Oxford here. Each Sunday participants will receive a short film from Bishop Steven that reflects on the theme for the week, which will also be the theme within our Lent Small Groups.

In collaboration with St Frideswide’s, we will be running two out of five Lent Small Groups, one of which includes our regular Thursday Home Group, and one run by our minister, Kevin. It’s completely free and all are welcome as we meet in person or online. You can find out more information and sign up to any one of these groups on their website.
