In September 2026, on 26th & 27th, the 1st Bletchley Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Association, with which we are partnered, will celebrate its centenary!

Spurgeon Baptist Church, and the Water Eaton Church Centre within which we meet, form an important part of the history and current work of the 1st Bletchley Company, with many BBGA leaders & members past and present also members of our own congregation. The minister of Spurgeon’s acts as the chaplain of the Company.

This Sunday, we will be holding a special service to mark our centenary. It will be an opportunity to celebrate and give thanks for the work of 1st Bletchley over the past 100 years through spoken word, the sharing of past memories, prayer and song.

The service will be led by our Minister and Chaplain of 1st Bletchley, Rev Mung Hatzaw and the 1st Bletchley Captain, Mark Churchill. We are also delighted to be joined by the Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, The Countess Howe.

We also livestream our services via YouTube. Details can be found in the church newsletter, or alternatively contact us for the YouTube link.
