Happy New Year! We are starting 2026 with a bang with our new all age service and preaching theme ‘Six Beats, One Story’.
On the first Sunday of the month, in place of Morning Worship, our all age service takes place. These are appropriate for all ages, so our Junior Church stay in for the whole service.
Across the first half of 2026, through creative material provided by the Bible Society, we will go through the whole Bible story in just six scenes!
Our all-age service at the start of each month will be used to introduce each of the six themes – Origin, Exodus, Exile, Messiah, Spirit, Home – with the remaining Sundays that month (our regular Morning Worship) delving deeper into the given theme.
On Sunday 4th January at 11am, we will begin with our first beat: Origins.

- Sun 5th Apr, Easter Sunday: Messiah
- Sun 3rd May: Spirit
- Sun 7th Jun: Home
Following on from the all-age service, you are warmly invited to join us for a simple lunch of soup and a roll to stay on for a longer time of fellowship. New-comers are especially welcome – we would love to get to know you more!

Alpha
On our first Sunday of the year, our minister Mung will be starting a new series of Alpha. These will be running on Sunday afternoons over the months of January and February, after our morning service, at the Water Eaton Church Centre.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of low-stakes, interactive sessions that freely explore the meaning of life and the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions.
It’s free and there is no obligation to attend every session. You can also decide to join at any point, and it’s not a problem if you need to skip some of the sessions.
Please bring a packed lunch. Exceptions to this are on 4th January and 1st February, where you can join us for our After Service Soup if you wish.
