Please note that this Sunday we will not be meeting at our regular time of 11am. Instead, we will be meeting at 10am in a shared service with St Frideswide’s.

This service will include an update on the potential development of the site here at the Water Eaton Church Centre (a process which has been taking place over several years) and an opportunity for feedback and prayer together.

Please do stay for refreshments in the Youth Hall afterwards where there will be the opportunity for further prayer and discussion together over drinks and pastries.

New Minister to begin Friday 1st March

Following up on our previous announcement of Mung Hatzaw as our new minister, we are excited to say that Mung has officially started his role with us from today!

A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who has worked amazingly hard on the manse and garden to get it ready for Mung. They both look great! And another ‘thank you’ to everyone for their generous donations to help get Mung started too.

With Mung officially beginning his journey with us from today, he can now be contacted via email at minister@spurgeonbaptist.com. Please be aware that his day off will be on Monday each week. There will be a dedicated page on our website with a biography and contact details coming soon, so please bear with us as we set this up!

There will be an induction service for Mung in a few weeks time, the details of which will be released in due course. For now, as Mung settles into our congregation, services will still be led by individuals from our Lay Preaching Team, members of the church who alternate in leading services and giving sermons.
