WECC Groups Celebrate Christmas

Over the past couple of weeks, a number of different groups at the Water Eaton Church Centre have been celebrating Christmas! Below are a couple of pictures from some of the festivities…

Disabled Club

The Disabled Club, which is held on the first Wednesday of every month, held its Christmas party. The pictures show how the room was set up in readiness for the celebrations.

Great fun was had at craft group creating Christmas angels and table decorations!

1st Bletchley Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Association (BBGA)

BBGA, which meets on Tuesday, held a number of Christmas celebrations for its different sections. This involved the singing of carols, including Silent Night and Away in a Manger. The Juniors played some Christmas games, such as the ‘dressing up chocolate game’ and the ‘eating chocolate off your face without using your hands’ (see below)!

Meanwhile, the Company Section prepared some egg-filled oranges, which were then cooked in the fire. There was a mixed verdict on how they tasted, but everyone ultimately enjoyed the process of hollowing out the oranges and cooking them in the fire. The evening finished off with hot chocolate, a touch of orange and one last carol.

You can find out more about the work of BBGA either here or on their own website.
