Outdoor Summer Worship

For the five Sundays in August, we will be sharing outdoor worship with our friends from St Frideswide’s. These summer services will be held in the Galilee Gardens at 10:30am for around 45 minutes or so.

  • Please bring your own chair/picnic blanket for seating.
  • We would encourage you to bring your own flask/cold drink for after-service refreshments.
  • Please use your discretion during August Sundays; we will try to accommodate services in the Youth Hall if the weather is poor, but if it’s truly dire, it may be best to remain at home!
  • Our last outdoor service, on Sunday 29th August, will include a Teddy Bear’s picnic afterwards!

Following the ‘Shaping Our Future‘ discussions back in March, we also hope to use the opportunity of this time together as our two fellowships to further explore and share where God may be leading us in terms of our building. Grindley Architects, who presented the Feasibility Study, will therefore be displaying the drawings at or around our summer gatherings so that as many people as possible can access them and feed back.

A more detailed update on the Feasibility Study can be found in the church newsletter. If you do not have access to the newsletter and would like to read this update, you can also contact us.

Of course, anyone from outside our two fellowships is still more than welcome to join us for our outdoor services. We look forward to seeing you there!
