This Christmas, we are involved in packing gift boxes to support Operation Christmas Child, a project which collects shoebox gifts for children in need worldwide, especially those affected by poverty, war, or disaster over Christmas.
Shoe boxes are filled with toys, school supplies, and personal care items, and are then donated to be delivered to children in over 160 countries, with the goal of helping those in need and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
A few weeks ago, Sarah Hatzaw (our minister’s wife) organised a Shoebox Packing Party, where we had a chance to pack the shoeboxes and pray over them.
One following Monday at half nine in the morning, Sarah Hatzaw (minister’s wife) and Nick Lingard (deacon) delivered 50 Operation Christmas Child gift boxes to The Entertainer in Milton Keynes. From there, the boxes will be sent to the Samaritan’s Purse warehouse in Coventry, where volunteers will carefully process them before shipping them to countries around the world.


Sarah says:
Each box is a channel of joy and hope, allowing children everywhere to experience the love of Jesus in a tangible way. We’ve prayed over these gift boxes and commissioned them, and we invite you to continue praying that God will work in mighty ways through them.
