Back in October we held our Harvest all-age service, centered around the BMS World Mission Harvest Appeal ‘Refugees Welcome’.

During the service we learnt about, and had the opportunity to donate to, the BMS World Mission welcome centre in Cyprus, which is opening its arms to people from all over the world – people who never thought they would have to call themselves a refugee.  

Our treasurer is pleased to report that Spurgeon’s was able to raise £740, plus £88.75 gift aid, for the appeal. This money will be used to help keep the welcome centre running and the refugees it supports; providing food & accommodation.
