During this profoundly sad time we can give thanks to God for the life, service and Christian faith of HM The Queen, which she has dutifully practiced over the course of her reign. We can also pray that He would give strength to the Royal Family as they grieve, and to King Charles III in his new role as our sovereign.

As shown below, Water Eaton Church Centre will be open on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September, 9am-3pm, for anyone who would like to spend some time in quiet prayer or write a message of condolence.

Our upcoming morning service on 11th September will also provide a chance to reflect on The Queen’s life and pray for our country in this time of mourning, especially in the midst of a cost of living crisis.

Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!
