Former Minister Dr Rob Ellis to lead Service

For our Morning Worship this coming Sunday (24th April), we will be welcoming our former minister, the Rev Dr Robert Ellis, recently retired Principle of Regent’s Park College, Oxford, to lead us in worship. You can find out more about his work here.

The Bible readings are John 20:19-23 and Acts 5:27-41.

Lighthouse Holiday Club Fundraising Results

A huge thank you to everyone for your generosity and support with the ‘Guess the name’ and ‘Guess the weight’ competitions, which were held before our morning services on 27th March and 3rd April.

The Lighthouse Team are pleased to announce that a total of £100 was raised, which will go towards resources to help the Lighthouse Team to provide the best experience for the children in the summer.

Congratulations to Gareth, who correctly guessed the name of Mary-Lou and to Catherine, whose guess that the cake weighed 2.604kg was the closest to the actual amount of 2.605kg!

Chair Exercises Resume

Chair exercises have now resumed after a 2 year hiatus during the pandemic, led by Jenny, our former parish nurse. They will be meeting at the Church Centre every Thursday from 2-3pm.

Save the date – Jubilee Celebration Day!

On Sunday 5th June, from 10:30am – 5pm, in collaboration with our friends from St Frideswide’s, we will be holding a Jubilee Celebration Day at the Water Eaton Church Centre. This will be open for the whole community to attend.

Events will be held throughout the day. Further details coming soon!
